Garbage and recycling are collected every Thursday throughout the Village. Place bins at the curb by 7:00 a.m. — collection order varies week to week.

Holiday weeks shift collection to Friday — changes are always posted on the News & Notices page and the homepage banner.
What goes where
- Blue Box: plastic containers #1–7, glass bottles and jars, metal cans;
- Grey Box: newspaper, cardboard (flattened), boxboard, office paper;
- Not collected curbside: electronics, hazardous waste, appliances, construction material — take these to the County transfer station on Line Road 4 (Saturdays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.).
Large-item pickup
The Village runs large-item pickup twice per year (spring and fall). The next pickup is October 14, 2026 — items at the curb by 7:00 a.m., no freon appliances or electronics.
Bear smart: please put bins out the morning of collection, not the night before, from April through November.
